Attacks
Aerial Maneuver -
When cornered, this monster will use its wings to flap forward. The force will push them backward and give them space to move. It can follow up this move with a Fiery Ball.
Beak Attack -
The Yian Kut-Ku will raise both of its arms/wings above its head and will start poking its beak on the ground to attack its target. It can repeat this move up to 4 times consecutively.
Bite
- When the hunters attack its sides, the Yian Kut-Ku will attempt to bite them. It will open up its mouth, pause momentarily, and then sweep its head onto either side to throw Hunters off balance. They can follow up this attack with a Tail Sweep, which is a move where they swing their Tail toward the Hunters.
Charge to Tail Sweep
- The Yian Kut-Ku will charge at Hunters as soon as they see them. They will start running with their wings high and above their head. Once they reach the hunter's position, they will immediately follow up with a Tail Sweep as they turn their body.
Enraged Beak Attack
- This is the same as the Beak Attack listed above, but instead of 4, the maximum instance is raised to 6, and it will finish the move with a Jumping Beak Attack, where it will jump from its previous position, into its target's position to do another Beak Attack.
Fiery Ball
- The Yian Kut-Ku will tilt its head to the left as it raises both of its wings. Then, a glowing orange will start to form around its mouth, and after a while, it will fire it at its target. This is an attack reserved for distant hunters. It can do this move up to 2 times. When enraged, the maximum instance is raised to 4.
Fiery Charge
- This is a modified charge where the Yian Kut-Ku will run towards a hunter, with its head turning from side to side, while fire pours out of its mouth.
Jumping Beak Attack
- The Yian Kut-Ku will jump towards a hunter's position to do a Beak Attack.
Large Fiery BallFiery Ball
Large Fiery Ball - This is a modified Fiery Ball attack. This move starts the same, but it will pause longer before it spews the Fiery Ball. Then, upon reaching the ground, the fire will spread and linger for a couple of seconds.
Lowered Charge
- This is a variation of the charge where the Yian Kut-Ku lowers its face on the ground and pushes it with its legs towards a hunter. Once it reaches its destination, it will swing its head upwards. This attack can throw units off balance when hit directly.
Tail Sweep
- The Yian Kut-Ku will sweep its tail against Hunters that are attacking it. This move can throw hunters off balance when hit directly. It can do this move up to 3 times consecutively.
