Slay the Spire 2 beta patch rolls back some prior changes following player feedback

Slay the Spire 2 has pushed out another beta patch, reverting a number of changes the prior patch introduced, including changes made to the Prepared (Silent), Borrowed Time, and Capture Spirit (Necrobinder) cards.
As Mega Crit co-founder Anthony Giovannetti explained in the patch notes, while the team still thinks that with Prepared, "the Sly synergies are overall too dominant of a strategy, Prepared is so integral to the Silent's core identity that I will be looking for a different approach to bring Sly in line in the future".
Borrowed Time is "likely to receive a complete rework in the future", too, but for now, "the card is fun to play with in all decks".
Rather than just list the changes without context, in this particular patch note, Giovannetti has outlined "insights into [the] design intent and thoughts behind various changes", and stressed the importance of feeding back your own thoughts.

"We make changes based on a mix of player feedback, collected metrics, and our own design philosophies," the team explained last week. "While we look at feedback on many platforms, the feedback we receive via the in-game reporter from players who are testing the patch firsthand is the most useful to us."
Slay the Spire 2 is estimated to have made more money than Hollow Knight: Silksong on Steam, and more money than Hades 2, and after only two weeks on sale.
