The Epic Games Store announces a new free game for November 20, while allowing its users to claim three other freebies in the meantime.
The Epic Games Store revealed Zoeti as its free game for November 20. The deck-building roguelite's upcoming 100% discount will offer just under $20 worth of savings for Epic Games Store users.
Over the week-long period beginning November 6, the Epic Games Store was giving away dark-humor puzzler Felix the Reaper, as well as a $100 item bundle for Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms. That promotion has now been replaced with three other freebies: Zero Hour, Songs of Silence, and ScourgeBringer.
Alongside the launch of the Epic Games Store’s November 13 giveaway, the platform also announced its next free title: Zoeti. The 2D roguelite will become available to claim on November 20, at 8am PT / 11am ET / 5pm CET. Epic Games Store users will have exactly seven days to add Zoeti to their accounts free of charge, after which the game will revert to its usual price of $19.99.
Developed by Taiwanese studio Dusklight Games and published by California-based Akupara Games, Zoeti is a deck-building roguelite with a chibi art style that tasks players with collecting cards, combining them into combos, and pairing them with a variety of abilities in order to prevail in battle. Its action unfolds under a classic fantasy setup, following a chosen hero on a quest to cleanse a mythical land of encroaching evil.
Zoeti was originally released for the Nintendo Switch and PC in April 2023 before making its way to Android and iOS devices in August of the following year. It marked Dusklight's debut title, launching to largely favorable reviews. Its OpenCritic rating falls in the "Fair" category, based on a 67% reviewer recommendation rate and an average score of 72. Critics praised the accessibility of its poker hand-inspired combos and the addictiveness of its Slay the Spire-esque gameplay loop, though some criticized its roguelite mechanics as being too inconsequential, positing that the game sometimes plays as a puzzler with a single optimal solution. Even so, player feedback has been strong, reflected in the game’s "Very Positive" Steam reviews.
The November 20 giveaway will mark the first time Zoeti has been offered for free on Epic's platform. While waiting for the upcoming promotion to kick off, Epic Games Store users can claim three games representing some of 2025's strongest genres: roguelite platformer ScourgeBringer, tactical shooter Zero Hour, and turn-based auto-battler Songs of Silence.
